How many emails in your catcher account?

I just hit 3200 in one account and I've only opened about 900 ( I usually ignore all lotto and romance mail). Still only using 2% of GMail storage. Thanks Google!

How many scam emails do you have stored??

3488 + 3500 spam in catcher no. 1
But this got deleted few times, so the number would be bigger.

My current catcher opened in january, and I think I'm at about 3000 mails now. I've got a steady flow of 60/day, and I open every one of them. (which doesn't mean I read them, I skim through them)

Actually I don't keep anything that I get once I have posted here & at scamwarners. I find it would probably confuse me while I am posting new incoming scams.

I am noticing after a few months, the level of scams (at least for me) tends to begin a downward trend. Usually when I check my catcher each day, I get up to 40 mails a day, now it is around 20 or slightly less.

I would have also expected to get more, but I thought posting my addy at F0NDa's forum would be enough to get a lot more, but apparently not. Also another factor why I could be not receiving so much in the first place is maybe I only posted my addy in one forum only? I don't know.

I will probably wait another month or so to see if there is anymore declining trend, and 'refresh' my catcher on F0NDa's forum. Or maybe because I don't really reply at all to the scammers, they probably somehow 'flag' my account as someone who just ignores them? *shrug*

That's TOTAL e-mails yes. What % are fraud stars? Of course %-wise your odds are greater with a bigger total.

I know I could get FLOODED by signing some guest books. My strategy is: I know how cool it would be to "bait by the thousand". What I'm hoping is I will torture their evangelist leader, (the Oral R. or Billy G. of scammer-lads) and HE will spread the gospel to the masses and throngs.

Thereby doing my work for me times (x) untold 1,000's.

I have 1400. It would be a lot higher but most of them go to the spam folder which gets deleted after so many days. I wish there was a way to turn the spam filter off in gmail.

put a filter on gmail and divert all messages to ANOTHER catcher where they ALL will go to inbox

I have received about 8000 emails since september'09, that are not from lads I bait, and not viagra spam.

1000 contain 'Lotto' OR 'Lottery' OR 'Winning'
4500 contain 'Fund'
600 contain 'Account' AND 'Manager'
250 contain 'Mueller' OR 'Sanusi' OR 'Soludo'
350 contain 'Gold'
1700 contain 'Urgent'

I'm sure there is overlap.

(In the same period I have sent out a bit over 800 mails to lads I bait(ed) and received the same amount from them. I didn't do mass ASEMs.)

I am not worthy. (see emoticon) Dude your website is the greatest. If you won't pimp out the fact it is a REALLY COOL location for a link to a : Ladspeak Generator. The pidgin is an extremely useful modality for those who aren't fluent yet in "LAD".

Myself, I write a smattering of Lad, enuff to be convincing in a dolla-chop.

I have about 400 at the moment, but I get over 100+ per day. I just delete a lot of them and select accordingly.

I harvested a lot of ID's recently just by sending out a small script. I then go through them to see how good their scam is compared to what they are saying and presenting. I've had a few clever lads like that to do battle with, it makes it more challenging.

I tried this and it looks like it is not forwarding the mail that is going to the spam box.

you can set a filter on gmail which says:

if mail subject does NOT contain "sdrgtadfWAREFREAGDSS" then -> "never send to spam".

I receive about 45 scam letters per day into my gmail spam folder, the result of a long-ago ASEM. I keep only the 200 newest of my catch, consigning the older ones to the "delete forever" key. The older emails are typically of little use, since I've found lads tend to lose or abandon accounts. If I'd kept the old ones, I'd have thousands.

From those I save, I bait about ten, ignoring the lottery, gold dust, and phishing emails. Mostly these days, I try for lad bank accounts.

Wow. I am definitely not worthy.

I had a lad ditch me and the catcher account instantly exploded with spam thereafter. I took it to show he had passed on the id to something that exploited the hell out of it.

But it might get a couple hundred every few days - maybe even a week. Nothing like what I'm reading in the above stats!

I have 5151 in my inbox. I also have an autoresponder that replies with a juju mail that forwards all of the evil that is directed at me by those that I have scammed and chopped, to the recipient of the reply. The responses are precious! You'll get from "I am protected by the blood of Jesus" to "Back to sender, back to sender!" to "Guy if it doesn't make money, I don't care" (paraphrasing).

I do not bait from the catcher as I heard it is better not to do so, but every now and then I set an autoresponder, like easter-greetings or some insults, and this seems to encourage the lads a bit, and the flow is getting stronger for a while.
Average is about 40-50 a day.

There is, although it's a workaround. You set up a new filter with the rules

if message body does not contain ANTIDISESTABLISHMENTARIANISM then do the following: Never send it to spam.

Only if the incoming mail contains that nice big word, will it be sent to the spam folder. Abracadabra12345 or whatever will do just as well of course.
