I had a bait going back in Oct '08. After failing to do a bank transfer several times, the lad disappeared. No replies, chats, nada...
My last contact with him....

Looks like the lad has fallen on hard times. He's even started to dig back thru his old magas to see whether he can get someone to send him a few dollars.

You know the procedure- max ladpain and then rinse and repeat!!

Well there's a nice delaying tactic right from the start... Been a long time, surely your character has forgotten all about the deal. Guess he'll have to explain it all over again won't he? Wink

I got a scam email several months ago and replied with the standard "I'm interested..." initial response. Lad wrote back saying, essentially, "WTF are you talking about?" Then, weeks later, he replied to my initial response with something like, "I need $5,000", as if nothing had happened. Obviously, this is no where near a year+ between responses (pretty amazing, BTW) like your lad but strange nonetheless.

Just had a similar thing. Denied receiving half of my replies and just wants to carry on as if nothing has happend.

To me it indicates the comments above, lads start looking through their old emails to see if they can revive something and get you back on the hook again, or so they think. Times must be hard in ladland!!

Yup, I had the same thing happen (also 2 years, I believe) with Deco Hark. Lads are a strange bunch.
