For fun, I asked a loan scammer to give me a loan for 42 cents.

This brings a question...has anyone baited using slang/common terms for monetary instruments, i.e. "quid", sovereigns, shillings, bucks, greenbacks, pfennig, oddball stuff only locals would know. |

If he ever gets it straight, maybe you could tell him that the reason you need a 42 cent loan is because you need to purchase a stamp to send your latest paycheck to the bank. You have zero dollars to your name, and no gas in your car to drive yourself to the bank to deposit the check. The only way to deposit it is through the mail and you need that 42 cent stamp!  |
