Fascinating.
Wellington simply can´t get it up to actually move under his own power.
Even if that means hitching a lift.

He needs, on a level I simply can´t take in, to be picked up.
Preferably in a limo with decently chilled bubbley, I daresay.
Obviously this shows my newbiedom, but these phone calls reveal a ladland I can´t enter.
But then, even the Mr Bigg´s menu was too much for me.

This is great stuff! I'm so glad Rev Who is on our side. He's such a smooth talker that I think he could probably send me on a safari and I wouldn't think twice about it Sad

And part of me feels bad for Wellington. I think the guy is gonna have a nervous breakdown or kill himself.

And I gotta ask this, and I apologize: But I know there are rules about involving innocents. I.e., don't have lads call porn numbers, a local fast food restaurant, etc. But is it okay to ignore the innocents rules when doing a safari? I mean, it could be a possible that an innocent cab driver got involved and lost a few day's pay, police time was wasted with them on the phone, and ordering of food at Mr. Biggs. And apparently a security person at the airport may have been ready to detain Wellington.

I guess I'm asking how and when the innocents rule applies.

^^^ as it said in the calls when he was in police custody, the only way he could have gotten out was when the taxi driver got paid

The fast food resturants were just a meeting point and if he ordered some Farmhouse Beans then we got them some business.

He has only been safaried as a result of his criminal activity so the police time used on him is time well spent.

The security and immigration people... well... he is an idiot... and desperate so it is his own fault if he wastes their time, we only told him to wait there

Let me play devil's advocate here:

If you had not sent this guy on a safari, some innocent cab driver would not have wasted his time and lost day or two's pay. The innocent cab driver got screwed because of the Safari.

And the security guy at the airport. He wasted his time when he could have been checking other passengers or doing his job had the lad not showed up for your safari.

Do you see what I am saying? Innocents are getting involved.

And that's just my question. When is it okay to involve innocents?

And please don't get me wrong--as I love what you two have done and it's hilarious. But it did get me to thinking about the innocents involved.

Oh, why is it that Rev Who's audio links can be played right at the site and yours can only be downloaded? Just curious. I use my iDisk for all my stuff and am not familiar with the site you two use.

Thanks and keep this going. I hope poor Wellington doesn't kill himself over this.

^^^ As I said, the taxi driver got probably the biggest fare he has had all week because of this... The cops said he could not be released UNTIL THE DRIVER WAS PAID, it is on the calls in the part of this bait where he is in police custody.
Now he got the SAME driver to the airport where he is stranded now so why would the same diver take him again if he didnt get paid the first time.

This is late at night in the airport when all this is going down so i doubt that the airport worker had much to do... especially if he is helping an unshowered safaried lad ranting about reverends owing him money for dog paintings

The baiters suggested he go to Akure, but they did not tell him to get a particular taxi driver to take him. The lad made that choice and the baiters cannot be responsible for the fact that he took a driver with no money to pay for the driver.

Lads use Internet Cafe's to continue their scams, the baiters aren't responsible if the lad uses the Internet Cafe on credit and then doesn't pay the Internet Cafe if they aren't successful in finding a victim.

It's a fine line. Lad's use innocents all the time to ply their illicit trade. They use Internet Cafes, Money Transfer Services, Mobile Phone Providers.

The key here is to, as a baiter, not deliberately lead the lad into hurting an Innocent Third Party.

If you tell a lad to go from A to B that is fine. It's up to the lad to get from A to B and you cannot, as a baiter, be responsible if the Lad uses dishonest means to accomplish the safari.
