Scam.

The "Attend this upcoming conference!" format isn't used as much, but it comes around fairly regularly. In the past, we've had mass baits with each baiter joining in and being a member of the large party that's going to be attending. Quite fun at times.

These types of conference scams are more common than you might think.

I never have figured out what lads think exactly makes them more alluring than, say, a lotto or NOK scam. But, if they still exist, I guess they have their vics too.

I'm in. Whos going to be the leader of our party. We shhould all pertain to be from a church group where every member will require special needs.
We would need to know if they can accomodate them with provided proof.

Some of the conference scams are a dark shade of grey. There is a technical conference held in Florida during the summer that calls for papers through legitiment news groups. The Scam is every paper is accepted usually with a too late to be reviewed but accepted for the conference anyway. Look at the disclaimer. The whole thing is that close to a scam. It is very close to the fake universities in style.

They just busted one of those conferences in Real Life. I think it was in the Boston, Mass. area. Even the vendors payed for booth space and they sold advance tickets. I would have to look it up. Very recent. Jan. I'm thinking. Google scam in Boston area. As I recall they found the culprits.

btw, I am up for a massbait of these creeps. And yes Sunshine your group will get an invite. Also in RL there still exists a Man-Boy Love Assn.
NAMBLA in the good ol' USA. I USED to give their New York phone # to lads. also a grey area of ITP. They're not so innocent if you ask me. Ugh.

I'm up for massbait. Someone fire a starter gun, and we're off and running.

I get millions of them in my spam folder, but I always just ignore them since I don't see much "baitability" in 'em.

@ Nick, you're right, probbly not much "baitability" in them. How about going for the coveted Police badge icon with an arrest.? I just looked it up it was called the Boston Bridal-Show Scam. Happened March 1.
6,000 victims and they had a web-site. Have not yet caught the culprits.

Several folks from Mal Oderous Inc. are interested in attending, but after we get approved, I think an intern will need a full list of all cleaning solutions used in the hotel, as well as a list of all their ingredients due to an allergy. Hope CAHT are sympathetic.

Every time you think you know how low lads will go to steal money from decent causes (humanitarian aid, love scammers, charities, hitlads, etc), they still manage to show you there is no bottom of the barrel as far as they're concerned.
