Hi all!
Sorry I've been away from the thread a while. I've been meditating in the desert. I see we've lost Brother Badger. I suppose it's for his own good. If you cannot withstand the persecutions of lesser mods and iMike, there is no way you will be able to withstand the mind-blowing awesomeness of a full-fledged Stewardian enlightenment.

Thanks for all or Brother Dutch and the true Mike, Brother MikeH, for keeping the 3rd post the ever throbbing heart of Eater.
Also, welcome to the post Koko.

Welcome to the Thread of threads, sister Corona. Steward changed Eater, history was (and is) written in this very thread, take pride having been part of this.

Steward never would have wanted to end your PLT, ever! If you scroll back to page 1 though, you will understand why all Eater threads are bleeding dry. Steward was (and is) a legendary phenomenon that you will rarely see. Take your time to read it all and try to comprehend His awesomeness.

Dear iMike, I understand your difficulty in turning from the abyss toward the light. It is a task lesser men might shrink away from. Hi all!

A little background: Stewardism claims a historical continuity spanning more than 19 days. It is the newest monotheistic religion in existence.

There are the Orthodox Stewardites, who believe in and study only the holy texts themselves. They say, "Hi All!" and repeat the other texts without change.

The Conservative Stewardites also study only the holy texts, but they also question and analyze. "Where is the third post? Have the mods hidden it? And how am I supposed to get a date next Saturday night?" is a typical Conservative utterance.

The Reform Stewardites maintain that Stewardism and Stewardistic traditions should be modernized and should be compatible with participation in the surrounding culture. They also say "Hi All!" but sometimes in large fonts and different colors. In fact, they are very similar to the Conservatives, but they feel deeply guilty about it.

Liberal (or Progressive) Stewardism is the dynamic, cutting edge of modern Stewardism. Liberal Stewardism reveres Stewardist tradition, and seeks to preserve the values of the Stewardism of the past while giving them contemporary force. It aspires to a Stewardism that is always an active force for good in the lives of Stewardistical individuals, families and communities today, and equally makes its contribution to the betterment of society. Liberal Stewardites not only use different font sizes and colors but also change the wording of the sacred texts to suit the present. "Hi Corona!" is what a Liberal might say. Just a couple of us know this, but the most liberal, if not flaming pinko, Stewardite here on Eater is Fartina d'oudouriss.

Then there are the repressed, or as some would say it, "closet" Stewardites. These are people that are inherently Stewardistic, but deny it. They make spontaneous greetings, they wish for new friends, they give thanks when they can, but most of all they show the same clarity and economy of thought as the prophet himself. Even though they deny being Stewardites, they are clearly fascinated, they are drawn to the faith like moths to a flame, and they post like crazy about it. The best example of this type is iMike. We can only hope that one day he learns to love his inner Steward. When he does, I predict that he changes his name from iMike to MikeI. However, for now, he will only respond in the negative and further deny that he could ever be next in line to MikeH.

As to me, I'm a Theravada Stewardite, tending towards the mystical and solipsistic.
