This is a mock up of where I work for a living. On the left is a green button, in the real thing next to it, is a yellow one with the label 'Steward Panel Activated' I like to think that, when the great one re-appears, he can contact me at 'the office'.

Look what this thread has turned into compared to Steward's original message of only wanting to sow friendship and to thank us all (or you).

It doesn't matter if you think Steward is divine, holy, or the scrapings from someone's shoe after they've milked the cows... it's his message that counts. Do we really want a divided Eater? I mean, seriously, again?

BadgerBait, my Stewardian brother, I was trying to ascertain the reason for your sudden about face. I am convinced that it is the lack of believing female company in this movement.

I saw that Kate decided post about Steward, but what I noticed is that her posts were ambivalent at best. I can understand someone who was not here early on, misunderstanding the importance of Steward.

iMike is a predictable anomaly. I am encouraging BadgerBait and Kate (separately for obvious reasons) to start at page one post one and see the whole message of Steward once again, if not for the first time.

Steward will live on through various mentions in this thread and threads for years to come. That is the essence of a living legend.

Elvis is King and Steward is time immemorial.

Kate you are right! Toast is what we need! It is real and taste good with assorted condiments spread upon it. I like toast as it is almost alway a companion food to bacon.

Stewardians! Continue the faith!

I would propose a series of testaments, in which each of us recounts how the simple wisdom of Steward has aided us in our daily lives. I would also suggest that relatively too much attention has been paid to the mysterious 2nd post "Thanks for all or you" and not enough to the simple basic tenet of life that Steward urges upon us:

-invented jazz, under several disguises ("Armstrong", "Morton", "Bechet",...). It was all him!
-invented the wheel. Or can you prove it different, huh? Can you? Huh?

He has also invented scambaiting. He made Shiver Metimbers in his subterranean laboratory. But I´m not supposed to tell!

Steward brought us more love and true friendship than 7 years of Valentine's threads put together, and more inspiration than Shiver's book or any of the golden pith helmet safari's, hilarious pictures and movies.

We can not begin to realize just how all encompassing the subject title "Hi All!" (Note again the exclamation marks) has been, and what impact this has had on the lives of many of us.
