I keep on reading some sob stories from the lads as why they scam,
But what about our side of the fence? Why do WE do wind them up?

I'm here for several reasons. My main reason is the hope that people who use Google and do some basic research on their recent "inheritance" may find us, and it will prevent them from getting fleeced. |

Different people are motivated by different things, but I'd sure like to think that most people are here because they want to help fight dishonesty and help prevent innocent people from being defrauded, not just wasting their employer's time and money by messing around on the Internet.... |

Why we bother to help "internet strangers", people I will never meet in real life? Because I don´t want scammers to succeed.
Baiting them is nice time-wasting. Advising others how scams work and how baiting works is another very effective way of making scammers´ wallets shrink, indirectly of course, but a word (forum post) can go a long long way. |
