One of my characters has just received an email stating:

You have been registered at New Free Dating Service - FreeInterDating.com!

She hasn't registered there.

The strange thing is that this email includes her password at FreeInterDating.com - and it is identical to the one she uses (only) at DateMeFree.org.

Has anyone else who has a profile at DateMeFree received one of these? Is it DateMeFree's doing? Or what?

The new site is owned by the same slugs. They just spun off a new site, which I am sure will be as scammer infested as datemefree, from datemefree....

Instant dating site. Copy the members over from your other sites, make the new one look like it has traffic/members, and you save months of honest labor, building a new site.

Look at the 'whois' for both domains...

Cheers. A strange way of doing it, when they could say, 'Would you like to be a member of our new site? Copy your profile across with one click! Even keep the same password!' and make it sound like some sort of special treat.

Ah well, another 'walk into my parlour' profile, with no effort on my part. That's fine.

Congratulations. I just looked at your site, and you have two online members. Only one appears to be a west african scammer, but the other one does not have a picture and I can't view his profile without registering.
I looked at your gallery of female members.....and see some more probable west african scammers.

You are misunderstanding MY post.

I consider your post where you claim "with really good true antiscam system" is a dangerous and stupid claim to make.

Your site is littered with scammers - and these scammers take advantage of victims who may believe your inaccurate and unwise claims.

Many victims and potential victims read this forum.

Please do not post your stupid and inaccurate bullshit here or at Scamwarners.

Try and test our new antiscam system. We run real good antiscam script! If you open "Browse by Region" page - on this page you can see all profiles! But this profiles only for SEO. Scams can not sign in FreeInterDating. All scams banned by IP addresses.

I just took a peek over at freeinterdating and clicked on the 'Recommend AntiScam Sites', it is a cut-n-paste directly from the 'Links' page here at Eater. Is that plagerism? Or a good thing as victims of scammers there can find their way here and to scamwarners easier.

I also clicked on 'Men Profiles' and didn't find one genuine sounding guy there, all had poor grammar, spelling errors and odd syntax.

I agree with everyone else, find your scammer-soul-mate there.

@Kate, I notice you have held back on what you really feel about this "Scam Free Site". Laughing

I do have to give Mr/s Scam Free some credit, he is trying to make his site free of scammers and with that warning, "some" of his real members may avoid being scammed, for that, well done.

For coming here or to any other site for that matter and telling potential victims that your site is clear of scammers is both ignorant and dangerous.

I do hope you are going to go back to all the sites you have spammed this obvious lie and adjust your statement to something more like 'We are trying to remove scammers from our site" rather than the shite you have posted here.

You suggest you are scam free because you ban certain IP ranges, well done, are you aware that it is possible to manipulate an IP address, how do you keep those out? Shall I answer it for you to save you the embarrasment, You Dont.

There is a site "Profile looker", it used to be our favourite playground for picking up scammers, a team of skilled and dedicated people who do understand scams set out to rid the site of as many scammers as possible and they did a brilliant job of it, as good a job they did, they still recognise that NO dating site is free of scammers.

Onto the next point of discussion, you want us to go to your site and do the work you couldn't do while insisting it is already done, do you have any idea about how many dating sites are out there, or do you understand how much time many of us devote already to helping the people who are scammed by people on dating sites, do you know how often we hear dating site owners suggest they are scam free, now you would like us to help you so your obvious lie doesn't look so obvious.

Let me help you by giving you a check list;

Remove/edit any of your comments on the net that you are scam free

Stop using the statement that you ban certain IP ranges, scammers love that, it saves them the trouble of attempting to join with their usual IP then find they need to manipulate it to join.

Learn more about how scammmers operate and how to spot them

Read the stickies in the romance forum here

You have a warning about scams on your site, well done, include some of the new knowledge you have learnt by reading the stickies and include a link to Scamwarners, the "how to spot a romance scammer" sticky may be the best link, if you like I can even help you with this

Visit the romance forum at Scamwarners and see how widespread the problem is and the damage caused by scammers.

I know we may be coming accross as harsh on you, but some of us deal with victims of romance scams every day, we see the misery caused, we talk to them on the phone and hear them cry, we see them lose their homes, we talk them out of taking their lives, we see the problem is caused with thier families, it is not fun, then to see you suggest your dating site it free of scammers when it is so obvious that it not the case can and does make us see red.

Lets start with that checklist and see how you go
