I understand your loss, Steward was a great person.
But, if you put his name in the search field, it reveals that the great one made 3 posts.

However, if you search for his 3 posts, only 2 are revealed to our gaze.

What was in the third post?

Why has it been suppressed?

Was it The Answer?
to the meaning of life?

Who suppressed it?

Will the truth ever be revealed?

Perhaps the The Watchtower Apocalyptic Testament needs a sub-cult, whose secret (and lost) holy text is Steward's Third Oracular Post. A life devoted to STOP would be a life very well-spent.

I am deeply disturbed (no the sentence doesn't end there) by what happened in this thread.

1. iMike did not totally admit that it was he or which was he, so the riddle me this riddle me that is still a riddle. Very clever those heretics.
2. SOOI is either, (or either, depends on how you pronounce it, Steward prefers either, I think) wanting to quash any attempts to draw the loyal and faithful Stewardians away from this fine tribute thereat, or he is wanting to keep us all corralled. In either way, the result is the same. Thank you SOOI for looking out for us in the way that ONLY you can!

IG, you have stumbled upon one of the GREAT mysteries of Steward (there are only 418 other). It is obvious that you have a keen mind or you have not read the whole thread. Let Steward be your witness.

The mystery is, is the missing post Steward's second (2nd) post or his third (3rd) post. There is evidence of each being truth and some suspicion of fowl play in the mean time many of us have been running around with chickens looking for the head answers.

If you can use your keen investigative skills to de-mystify this mystery I know I for one and all would be grateful.

I get anywhere from 5 to 10 such mails a day, luckily deposited into the spam section, and I've always wondered why would anyone ever believe the BS in it? But there are! Lots of em!

We can now see that a schism is developing within Eater.

Some believe that the missing Steward post is his third one. They point to the epistemological closure after the second post, and they rejoice in the possible existence, however ephemeral, of further testaments from Steward.

Others believe that the missing Steward post is his second one. They point to the logical chasm between Steward #1 and "the other Steward post," and conclude that the other one must be #3 (and so we are missing #2), or else we are led to the logical contradiction that Steward is actually knowable in some sense. Husserl has written sage words on this subject, as has Sartre. The signified (the actual wisdom of Steward) must not be confused with the signifier (his posts), after all!

Then still others, myself included, deeply believe that Steward cannot be analyzed, cannot be grasped in any way by us mere mortals, so this distinction between the #2-adherents and the #3-adherents can only lead to sectarian strife without true cause. The only true cause here is Steward, need I point out?

Then, there's the radical fringe of Eater, the ones that point out that Steward is simply an anagram of "Rat's Dew," and so we have all been scammed into an obsession with the excreta of an as-yet unidentified rodent. Can anyone think of a particular Rodent who might be behind the entire Steward phenomenon? I sure can't.

There are many philosophical alleyways to enter and discourse upon in this matter. I must retire to my study for further contemplation.

See? You're already arguing amongst yourselves. If steward was truly someone special why doesn't he intervene & tell the truth about which post is missing. If any. How many other members have exactly 2 posts? There's a real likelihood that the forum post counter simply isn't working properly. Face it - there is no missing post, just a mechanical error.

Without suspension, Steward cannot suffer. Without suffering, why would Steward have come and posted among us?
Think about what you're saying and don't use that... whatever... logic or common sense or whatever it is you're relying on. Put that to one side just for one moment, if you can, and you will see the Message of Steward.
