Hi everyone, I am new in the scambaiting forum, so I need a little help here.
A few days ago I got an email offering loans to finance business. Has anyone ever got such a scam letter?

This sort of scam is fairly routine. There will be "legal fees" or origination fees of some sort, but no loan will ever be forthcoming.

While realistically you would most likely have nothing to worry about if you play with them, you should err on the side of caution and not do it if you are using your real email address. If you want to play with them, set up a fake email and contact them that way. |

to clarify, you don't need to wait for scammers to contact your baiting account - just write to any scammer who has spammed one of your other accounts.
just say 'i am interested by what you told me - please tell me more'.
this will not arouse suspicion, nor can they link back to your real-life accounts. |

Make absolutely sure that they cannot track you in any way. Some lads are forum members as well and read through the posts.
I lost a bait because a lad read the forum, saw my question, and put two and two together and felt I was referring to him. I denied it but as he had given himself away he could not keep up the scam. He now believes that he shot himself in the foot. |
