Hi everyone, I'm new in romance baiting, as in baiting in general (although i have few baits on which I'm working on currently).
I'm very interested in romance baiting, I even set up a profile on few baiting sites, but it seems that it is not good enough..
Do you have any suggestions which dating sites are best for finding scammers?
Thanxx |

Hm, well vlad or lad, or phad or whatever...I mean, I can also pretend I'm male, no problem...but I think it will be easier to bait as a poor, romantic, love seeking woman
But the problem is that I'm mainly approached by vladettes |

The vladettes are males anyway - merely using stolen photographs.
I alternate my bait characters to suit, but have found it best when female, to be at least 40. |

francesca,
I have a male/hotmail and a female/fastmail account. Double trouble!
They are bro/sis or husband/wife and they have the same last name.
I can bait as to what I feel like at any giving moment. |

I have an account on 4ppl.com that gets a lot of hits. Try find a photo of some minor celebrity that's unlikely to twig your vlad/lads. I use a photo of performance artist Internationalchrysis (And no-one picks that the person next to her is actor Nick Nolte!).
I play her as completely stupid, barely able to operate a computer. Her niece (also played by me), can operate a computer, but is completely psychotic! I LURVE playing the niece.
I also have backup characters for when hitmen drop me |

Oh, great, thanx for the advices ppl
I made a character of an overworked, stressed, but pathetically naive woman, who waits for her prince...But she is loaded (I thought that would be a nice bait)
..Well, ill alter it a bit and see if it is ok |

A few other things that have worked for me:
As already mentioned, 4ppl is great for picking up scammers. In fact, I'm not sure if there are any real people on the site, as it seems to be nothing but scammers and pervs. Tagged is constantly showing up too, but I haven't used them myself. The tips below are for 4ppl but probably translate well to other sites. PlentyofFish used to be scammer-heavy too, haven't checked it out lately.
I have noticed that more and more scammers are avoiding profiles without pics, so even if it is a pic of a dog, put something up. As already mentioned, for females, make the character over 40, and if you do have a photo for your character, make her unattractive if possible. This greatly reduces the odds of getting a real person, and the first choice of scammers is typically anyone who appears lonely and desperate. I usually like to put something about starting over after a divorce or something like that. For pictures, I personally like to seek out ads for sleazy weight loss products that have "before" and "after" photos, because (a) the "before" picture is usually made to look as unattractive as possible and (b) if you are willing to lie and promote an ineffective and possibly dangerous product, I don't feel bad about using your photos!
Check out the "online now" section and post your new profile when there are a bunch of scammy-looking people online. Plan to stay online (logged into 4ppl) for a bit after you post your profile (you can just stay signed in while surfing in another window). When they see a new potential vic pop up, especially one that is online, the scammers will fall over each other, racing to be the first to approach you. Be aware that 4ppl has a messaging system, and they will start trying to reach you that way too, though. By using this approach, I can usually get 8-10 scam approaches in the first hour after posting my profile. |

What nationality does he claim to be? Definitely sounds like typical scammer, but if he is claiming to be from US, UK, or any other country in which English would be his first language, then it's a guarantee. |

The problem is, that he is claiming to be from Ghana, so that is definitely something he is not lying about.
his name is Jude Brown...hm...But all his emails look like scam
He even sent me pix and a rose (wow )
EDIT: did I forgot to mention he loves me already?? |

I usually pass on those myself--they are the least likely to succeed in getting money. Personally, I think time is better spent on the ones who are more likely to get money from victims. |
