Nothing there to prove it, but more than likely a cheque scam will follow - you will be reciving cheques from 'customers' and sending on the balance after your commision, before the cheque is found to be fake or stolen of course.

The fact it comes from South Africa is a clue. I pulled youtr tiscali adress from line 3, BTW. Smile

Utter bollocks - think about it...

A high-paid, easy job requiring no skill - yet they have to SPAM people in order to get roles filled? Surely people would be jumping at the chance...

As someone with a lot of experience looking for work, I can tell you that it's not wise to jump at job offers that don't clearly describe the position. If they're not scams, they're still shady because they don't tell you up front what you'll be expected to do. Even though I've been looking for some time now, I'm not going to get involved with an employer I haven't checked out thoroughly.

I noticed the spelling mistake lol!!!

Even if I was looking for a job, which I am not as have been at my present employer for 13 years now and still enjoy it, I too would do thorough research on the company I was looking for work from!!

Dread to think what they would do with your resume they asked for in the message, spamming/scamming purposes is what I think!!

Wonder if they would be baitable for anyone lol!!

@ 419ers are scum - they most certainly are scum. Feel free to slap them often. Very Happy

A quick googley on the domain (rdnets.com) found it is a well known scamming site plus it has the same letter. Go figure.

We attract lots of casual readers so this is mostly for them.

Scammers use very powerful applied psychology techniques (social engineering) to manipulate ordinary people (victims) into doing things that are against their better judgment. Nothing is sacred to them. They demonstrate a perverse capacity to exploit any and all human foible, fetish, fear, motive, desire or need. All tragedies (such as the recent Haitian earthquake) are opportunities to be exploited so far as they are concerned. This disturbing behaviour creates many ongoing problems. Near miss victims become hardened to legitimate efforts to raise assistance for those genuinely in need. Real victims of tragedies are doubly victimised through no fault of their own. And scam victims are often exploited time and again (repeat / chronic) because it is more cost effective to work a victim known to be vulnerable than it is to locate new victims.

Anyone, me included, will fall victim to a scam given the right situation and trigger events. There are no innocent scammers.

The domain seems Russian / Eastern European (not unusual) so at a guess we might be dealing with technically competent vlads.

Scams like this yield several highly valued payoffs for scammers. CV's / resumes are particularly rich primary sources of legends (backgrounds / stories), cultural language nuances (slight idiosyncratic styles / expressions), names, addresses, schools, phone numbers, more email addresses, photos, qualifications, schools etc etc. Lads continually adapt and craft their scams to yield more money from more victims.

Anyone who sends something to a lad, even an innocent "Who are you?" email, has proven themselves vulnerable to scammers and will find themselves hit again and again. If they do send a CV then they has just passed the threshold event for being a victim. Email addresses contained in their documents will be used citing the original victim as the referrer to lower the resistance of associated victims. It's distressing but effective. Our resistance to a scam is lowered when it comes to us via a known source like a friend.

Once a victim sends money (anything) then they risk being hit by scammers until they are bled white. Some scams are not revealed until many months after the initial bite. Sometimes victims are hit by 'officials' (FBI / Interpol etc) who claim to be there to help them recover money ... all part of the same scam.

You might want to change your email address.

Now returning to this site ...

My main email address is a Yahoo one, and I am very careful who I send emails to with it, this one I use for general things, and just delete the spam!!

I once was nearly scammed before, with a vlad saying they loved me and wanted to see me, they had money for one flight, but not to the UK, they wanted me to send them money, by Western Union of all surprises (lol), then I dropped them like a stone, had a reply asking why I had stopped writing, and just ignored and eventually blocked their email address, never heard from them again!!
