In my emails, I always add an "0" to any fee the lads ask for. It gets their attention and confirms I am non-too-bright. They are always happy to play along at the higher amount of course, until this nutjob emailed me. In this case he wanted $95 and I mentioned $950 in an email. His responce:

I have one going and I was quoted something like $940 US or something (they were using GBP). I said that the exchange rate was only such-and-such and I should only be paying $708 and the lad apologized and is willing to accept that amount.
And asked me for the link for the conversions for future reference (which I did not send). |
