Nero, you forgot the nice banquet Irish commissioned for Steward. I hope we can start eating soon. Irish gave such an wonderous toast too.

I am so very saddened that Steward can only look in on us with his nose smushed up against the glass like that. It must be hell to know your friends are missing you so, having a fine banquet and yet you cannot either call for help or let your bestest friends know that you are okay.

I wish the mods had not installed that reflective mirror stuff on the windows last month. Now with the lights on, we cannot see which window he has his nose pressed against.

I suggest we all give it the Eater Try and wave to the nwindow nearest you and hopefully Steward will realize our full intention!

/\/\/\ steward is not necessarily "shit canned", it may be just a suspension pending investigation into the legality of his modality. It's not like he was banned. Wink

NORA, until your meds kick in, or fade, you are forbidden to speak to Steward or in any thread discussing Steward.

As we are the adjudicators of all things worthy on these illustrious forums, with original and creative content, you will just have to accept your mediocrity and sit in the corner until Steward releases you. It may take awhile, so you can have another hiatus and I'll just email.

I watched "The Box" last night.

It's kind of an ethical thriller...

Irretardless, there is a mysterious cryptic dude in the movie... named Steward.

I know what you're all thinking, so I'll address the obvious question:
No, Steward was not played by Eddie Murphy.

My thoughts on who to cast for the part of Steward--Heath Ledger, for obvious reasons.

@JMR: It would be up to the director, whether he wanted to try to capture SOOI's latent homosexuality (Andy) or his unique look and personality (French). If only it were possible to truly portray both without audiences thinking it's an exaggeration.

Luckey, Dude, Carrot Top is such a conundrum* it just might work. It looks like he has permanent eye liner* and it is obvious to my trained eye (yes only one) the he has been using steroids to boost something (though I have heard it has the opposite effect). I saw him on a NASCAR* based show and his face has ballooned up horribly*.

Given all of that, I am thinking CT would be a perfect caricature for Steward.

I must say that I miss the real Steward badly. His wit, his humour, his hubris, that slow southern drawl that he could turn on or off. His finesse with fruit and a mallet. His grasp of all things international. His absolute superb use of brevity to get his points across.

I have learned so much from his time here. Even his willingness to leave so suddenly, inspires me. I could go on and on (well I have already), but I don't want to tire the less than worshipful of Steward the Great!

Steward is Dead, long live Steward. (I hope that is not presumptuous*... Shocked

)
