I have a Kingston 2 gig. It's mostly plastic and made so the USB thingie sides in and out. It's about 1'' x 3'' . I could swallow it easy but breaking off the plastic would make too much sense.
I am surprised they didn't get a search warrant for his stomach. I guess they figured it would just pass and they get it that way. Personally, I'd rather retrieve it from vomit then feces.

I didn't read the part about it having to be removed at the hospital. Ha ha you dumb stupid bastard. I hope it hurt. All that and it didn't even work. Now don't you just feel stupid and violated. Theres more where that came from where you're headed.
Kingston should use this for an advertisement. You can swallow it, it can spend a days going though your intestinal track, it can even block your colon making removal only possible through surgery, BUTT your data will be safe. |

Well, thankfully everything came out all right.
This reminds me of an episode of Locked Up Abroad where a young British guy was caught trying to smuggle 67 condoms filled with heroin into Australia. He had swallowed them and carried them on a flight from San Francisco to Sydney in his stomach (17 hours!!). They had to be removed surgically, an operation that turned out to save his life.
