Hello, I am new on this site.
That means I don't know how it works. I found this site because I watched a program on Television about this Item. (Spammers/Scammers)
So for a start how can I report Scammers/Spammers from the Internet?
Dating/Chat sites etc etc? |

You probably saw Opgelicht today.
What we do is to try to spoil the scammers time be asking lots of questions. We also like to annoy/humiliate them by giving them small assignments, but you don't start with those. You've got to establish a sort of relationship with the scammer first.
Reporting a scammer to authorities is very hard, and reporting them at websites like marktplaats is quite useless, since they can use a proxy and get a new username. That why we never report mailadresses, it's so easy to create a new one.
I've had one bankaccount of a scammer shut down a few days ago for the first time, and it feels great to know that you've done something back to these gready dogs.
This whole baiting thing takes a bit of work to learn, since you've got to read a lot and you shouldn't expect too much in the beginning (i kinda did but i'm over that now). Every minute of their time that you waste is one that they cannot use on another victim.
A part of the forum is called the University. Here you can learn how to do it exactly.
The most important thing is to bait safe:
- Make up a name that doesn't like to your real name
- Make an emailadres (with gmail for privacy reasons) with that name
- Never send money
- Never tell them about this website / Use a different baitingname then your username on this forum
