My character is a bit of a knob and doesn't really understand the computer. On my last visit to WU I was warned about these scamming robots who send out emails. The Ladbot isnt very smart and based on my lads replies, I was suspicious he was a Ladbot Laughing

In order for him to prove he was not a Ladbot, he had to take a photo holding todays newspaper so I could verify the date. This would prove he was not a Ladbot and I would excuse his stupid emails.

Interesting angle. I like it. If you can bait him a while and hook him good, perhaps he will have to truly prove he isn't a robot before you send the money. Maybe he will need to take a naked/semi-naked picture to prove there are no wires under his clothes? Wink

Now some of the answer-mails I get make sense. A Ladbot is on the other end of the internet-wire.

And if your lad expresses any doubts or reluctance over sending you that photo proof, then send him this link as indisputable evidence that this is a common business modality

thx! not sure what the response will be, but everytime I ask for anything they send the same stupid bank ID. this has literally been dragging on for weeks.

its up to him, he proves he's not a robot or he doesn't get the MTCN Laughing

i was thinking you could get him to hold a sign saying 'i am a robot' as proof that he is not a robot.
then, when he send the trophy pic, you show it to your boss/wife/bishop/whatever,
and they refuse to authorise payment because he just confirmed he is a robot.
you would then need to seek further proof.....
