Those 35 word sentences are sure hard to read. I guess they never heard of punctuation, like periods(.) Rolling Eyes

On a slightly more serious note, this is - in reality - a very brutal tactic.

For baiters such as you and I, it inspires little more than a chuckle since firstly, we know they are in no danger, and secondly, we don't care what happens to them. A real victim - on the other hand - who believes the lad's story but is hesitant about sending money, will feel like complete shit when they "know" that some poor, innocent orphan is going to die a horrible death just because they were too "stingy" or too "apathetic" to send money.

nick has some very good advice there.
i'd recommend that you always try to figure what a real person would do, then bait accordingly.
or - more accurately - figure out what a scammer hopes you will do, then bait accordingly.

obviously, you will be unable to get the money together right away, so a string of excuses will follow.
then, when you tire of giving excuses, tell him you were contacted by barrister henry emmanuel,
and you made the payment right away.

I actually asked her if I could send her some money meanwhile. She replied that she needed 150 dollars for her hotell. Of course, I asked how she was able to pay for it up until now.

that's a good question.
keep making him/her work hard with excuses,
eg, ask for the hotel's website and (if he gives one) tell him you contacted the hotel and they didn't recognise the name of their 'guest'
