Been having a mail exchange 4-5 times with a russian "girl" now and still no talk bout cash?
Anyone experienced this before? Is she for real or what lol?

I had one like that, it went on for many months. She never got to asking for money but always sent me endlessly long scripts about being together, walking amongst the sand, the hills and all sorts of other supposedly romantic things.

I rarely got answers to my questions only the next script and If I did get an answer it was always in the subject line.

I got several photos of "her" I always wondered if she was real or not.

As above never asked for a single penny or anything, in the end i just never heard from her anymore. No idea what she got out of it.

These are better known as "vlads" and you'll find a lot about them in the Love Scams forum.

They have a bunch of pre-written replies than can last from some days to some weeks.
They'll send them to you almost without looking at your answers.
Then someday the request for money will come...

ETA: you can bait them as any other scammer, with slightly different techniques. Look at my avatar Wink

I've been getting loads of these lately, they always say something like 'remember that night we walk under stars moon so beautiful'. Was considering replying but seeing this thread I'm not sure if I can be bothered spinning it out for months.

The "flowery" language really gets on my nervs. As you say...the replies seems pre-written. No answers on my questions.
