I saw Paranormal Activity with a few friends and we had mixed feelings about it. 2 of us thought it was one of the scariest movies ever made. The other 2 thought it was crap. What did you think? |

Depends on your fear "instincts". The whole set is well psycologically planned to act upon basic instinct of human nature. I found it creepy at points. There were times when I thought it was getting predictible. In all based on budget it was a winner. Theres more I have to write but no time. |

I was expecting it to be a lot more scary than it was for all the hype they gave it. I saw clips of audience members nearly jumping a meter out of their seats in some trailer for it, but I didn't find it scary at all hardly. It was kind of disappointing for me. But like Badgerbait said, it's based on your 'fear' instincts ... |

I liked it and thought that it was well done - there were a couple of disturbing moments, but really I think it is far scarier thinking about it afterward.....my wife standing beside the bed, not moving and staring at me for hours, would really freak me out. |

Exactly, its what we cannot see during our most vulnerable time (sleep) that is most disturbing.
Personally, I would have left. I know the entity was following the girl, therefore she could stay...sorry, that beastie was beyond the boyfriend's realm of control. Why did they not invite friends to experience this entity as well. Strength in numbers! |

When this happens to me I just increase with her or my own dose of diazepam, usually helps. What do you do? |
