Had an interesting phone call today in my RF, from a Company
The chap on the Line was saying that my Loan had been approved I let him waffle on
then told him that I had NOT applied for a Loan. !
I'm wondering where he got my name and mobile number from any
idea's ? |

An old telemarketing sales technique was, that when you had a sale, you would tell the customer if you give us so many contacts we will give you an even better deal, they say they will only make an offer to these contacts, and not force anything on them, but in reality it they hope to trick them into buying the same shit the first customer just did.
and as far as I'm concerned telemarketers are all scammers too, so it could be applied here. Although normally when it is used they mention the name of the person who gave them the contact, to build trust.
i.e. Oh if Judy trusted you and brought your shit it must be a good product, I will buy it too, and here are some more guilable suckers you can work on. |
