So, I was brainstorming with a friend last night to come up with a safari modality that would be degrading but likely to work. Please let me know what you think.

I would represent a charity trying to raise awareness of the endangered Saharan Cross African Monkey (SCAM), holding a contest to see who could find a 24k golden banana hidden in their habitat. I'm a corrupt employee who knows where the banana is really located, and I want a 20% share of the banana's sale value in exchange for its actual location. The organization is trying to prove a point, so rather than the banana being in the Saharan desert, where most contestants would be looking, it will be at a zoo in some country far from the lad--the only place the SCAM monkeys will be left if their numbers continue to dwindle.

With the right lad, do you think this would work? The thought of a lad traveling around Africa in pursuit of a banana is very appealing!

I think it's a fun modality if you can pull it off. I does sound a bit like the WIMP-modality BRUIN made.

ETA: Might well be combined with the gps-tracker available to premium members.

just remember that the lad wont move unless the $$$ are high enough, whats this banana worth? thousands? or hundreds of thousands? do your research on gold value and make sure to mention its weight and size in a believable scale to to what you want it valued at. its an interesting little modality and if you can work out all the details it would work, may require some publication of the compitition, maybe a website, and flyers..... which are only being shown in the same district as the bannana thats why the lad hasnt seen them.

and i would ask for more than 20% for giving him the details, sounds more believable asking for 50%, but let the lad talk you down so as to make him more entusiastic.

It really doesn't matter what you present to your lads as an idea to get them on safari, it's how you present it.

Keep it very straight, and always tease. You need them latched first before they go running into the desert with a shovel looking for golden fruit. Make yourself completely believable and they'll wander off across countries wearing a pineapple on their head because you told them too.
