First of all I need to know what chorizo is. I have been getting some good ideas from this thread. I love to cook, however I am no chef.
Currently I have a challenge I hope you can help with. I am charged with providing a dinner for about 125, the theme is Canadian and/or Olympics. I need at least 8 appetizers, salad, main course, vege, bread, and dessert.
Narrowing Candian to the Toronto area may help. |

Jaegerschnitzel
makes 4
1 lb pork cutlet (about 1/4 in. thick)
2 eggs, beaten
salt & pepper
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
oil
1 packet brown gravy
1 packet mushroom gravy (Hunter gravy)
Pound the everliving crap out of the pork with a tenderizing mallet.
In a medium bowl, beat 2 eggs.
In a medium bowl, pour in the breadcrumbs.
Dunk the cutlets in first the eggs, then the breadcrumbs.
Cook in a skillet on med-low heat until center is just barely pink.
Mix the brown and mushroom gravy mixes with water in a medium saucepan.
Pour sauce over schnitzel, enjoy.
Goes really well with German potato salad, egg noodles, and red cabbage. |

Should I post in this thread or start a new one. I am looking for a variety of appetizers to serve, on trays, need at least 800 pieces.
Got the main course, vege, and dessert covered. Still need ideas for a salad and possibly a potato. This is for approximately 130 people. |
