@Huntington: Yes, you are there to open the pickle jars, squash bugs and take out the trash.

Other options include fixing the leaking faucet in the basement wash tub, installing the gas fireplace, replacing the dining room light fixture, refinishing the hardwood floors and writing poetry/stories just for me.

If the ladies don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

I'm wooing, but in a more laid back who really cares style after the fiasco from last year. The party was brilliant though, but ok, this year, I'm working on a lurve interest.

Wanted, woman to go catfishing , drink beer, cook a fishfry in a cut down 44gal drum,

/\/\ Am intrigued Irish, I do have my own pole and tackle box but only a 60 gallon metal drum and I don't do the gutting part, only the cooking.

That being said, a guy who can noodle a catfish, now there is a guy near and dear to my heart.

I would imagine that pellet gun would be very ineffective against a possum, especially if it's not a CO2 powered one. Laughing

Well, SSA, the possum left. I was trying to avoid collateral damage tonight since all my work is in the shed. But tomorrow, I will start working on a better plan. And hopefully one that involves more fire power. Care to help me explore my options? Wink

I prefer mine rubbed with seasoning, slow cooked over hickory for a few hours then served in a vinegar based sauce on a bun. North Carolina style of course. Laughing

As for firepower, a .22 pistol will take care of possums, and unwelcome suitors. Wink

I smoke mine over apple and use a REAL sauce, tomato-based, naturally. Of course, for my Valentine, I might consider vinegar. Wink

I used to use one of these when I was a kid for shooting rats and other farm pests, it works wonders on a possum, especially if you go with hollowpoints.

Or I could just wrap myself in a bow and come over there to dispose of it for you. Now that's Southern love right there. Laughing
