^^ That lad isn't burned otherwise he wouldn't be begging to be baited again. Looking at it for a second time, could be a badger too.
edit: looking at it for a third time i'm pretty sure it's a badger. I wouldn't waste my time on this one.

Strange... what is their benefit out of this ? I assumed that baiters are largely unknown to lads and they perceive us as "jokers"

I just googled him and he shows up on facebook but you have to be his "friend" to get his info. He's definitely African and It's very possible that he's a scammer.

Hmm, so "badgers" are baiter-baiters? Shocked

Odd. Friends of the scammers trying to decoy baiters away from them? Or just the kind of morons who troll on forums?
Do they just try to keep your bait going as long as possible, or eventually finish on an insult, letting you know they've wasted your time?
Gotta keep an eye on those lads I've got...

Yes, badgers exist, but they are very rare. I've been here for a good 7 months and I have yet to encounter my first badger. Everytime there was a mention of a badger, it turned out to be a weird lad in the end. The odds are very, very small. I can't answer how they work or what they think, but I assume they are the troll-kind of people, or serious lad huggers. Mostly from 'civilised' countries, not the friend-of-the-lad-trying-to-distract-you. It's more likely to be struck by lightning than to be struck by badgers Smile

That would be my guess, although I have never encountered one either, and I frankly doubt their existence.

My other guess would possibly be a former eater forum member who got pissed off at another eater member or the mods or whatever, and wanted to vent his anger? Or a bored baiter who wanted to try something new?

Either way, I can't imagine they would stick with it very long at all. What possible intrinsic reward could there be to being baited? If they simply enjoy messing with or angering people on the internet, trolling (or baiting!) would be more rewarding.

I extremely doubt a lad or ex-lad would do it. There's no profit in it, and no point, and certainly no honor among thieves or concept of acting "for the good of the lad community". Razz
