Sorry if this has been covered, but it just occured to me that if the same bait addy keeps approaching these lads with interest in their schemes doesnt some sort of flag go up in their underworld community?

Most of us keep a supply of characters and often play several of them at once to a lad.

And don't think of scammers being, to any meaningful sense, organised in the underworld - they're mostly bottom-feeder types and suspicious of other people ripping them off (chopping their mugus), a feeling we try to encourage as much as possible - divide and conquer.

Finally, for them to filter suspected baiters out of the thousands of spam they send daily sounds like actual work, and by definition our lads don't want to work, just to steal! Many are too lazy to go to Western Union to check if a payment has been made even.

Lucky for us scammers aren't likely to help other scammers that are not in the same gang. Unlike baiters they don't have huge forums where they all meet up and help eachother. By the time your addy is well-known, you can have multiple baits behind you. You can just check by googleing your baiting addy once in a while, as long as it shows up clean, you have nothing to worry about. Don't forget, there are thousands and thousands of scammers worldwide, by the time your addy is famous you have to do some serious mayhem Smile

If you want to see just how organized the lad "community" is, go to Yahoo Messenger, hit up random lads whom you've never spoken to before, and write to them, "GUY HOW FAR I DEY LAG U?".

LMAO you're all too much! I guess i was giving them way too much intelligence credit than they deserve.

I've just started cutting my teeth on four scammers including the infamous dr soludu.

Don't underestimate their intelligence, that is not lacking. Their distrust and greed are what does them in.
