I got a message on a dating site from nandm2010, a 33 year old girl registered in Berlin. I'm 58 and thinking too good to be true?
After a couple of messages she wants me to use IM, I didn't have it, spent nearly an hour downloading on my pathetic Orange connection. Had a brief chat. She tells me HER name is Kerry Bohme, SHE is now in Kenya and HER dad is village king and "am of that am single and now is time for em to choose the man i love and wont to meet us am looking for honest man to share love with".... I say good night and close IM do a quick search and find the name on this site.
Today I did a little research, then it was time to IM again. SHE comes out with "misisng u us my day is very lonly i have bene alone for long time and no sex my dear and i wotn to meet u thsi chrsitmas". I tried to side step and ask about Berlin, SHE has to disappear to the toilet. When SHE returns SHE has some scant facts about Berlin. Then comes the sting "ooh my dear it ll cost us 180.88 to apply for the vids and it ll take 5 working days to get the visa approved"... "sweety u can send it to western union tomorrow with my dad name"....

I told HER I will have to go to the bank in the morning to see if I have any money for HER. I've tried to warn HER, SHE may have to wait 'til after Christmas while I save up. I must admit thinking on my feet in IM was a bit of a blast.

Now I know why I was getting all the flirt messages from beautiful girls in Africa. There are so many there it'd be like shooting fish in a barrel
Twenty four hours ago I knew nothing about any of this, now I’m looking up IP addresses and dancing with SKAmers.

Can anyone see any dangers looming out of the darkness or have any doubt that this is a SKAm, I’d hate to miss a genuine opportunity like this.

That is a 100% scam. Your "lady" friend is a guy sitting in an internet cafe in Ghana. Glad you found us before sending any money. Smile

Just drop all contact with the scammer and he will move on.
