Well peeps, Mr Mkem Owoh (AKA Mr Mugu) was kidnapped and his family payed 1.4mil (Thats in Mugu Dollars) for his safe return.

But if they had killed him I think he would still be at the pearly gates chatting to St Peter. But i dont think St Peter would have let him in anyway as he would have to explain the suit cases full of US Dollars.

Can you imagine that conversation...
This is money from a Nigerian Prince and i is just holding it until UK/US/Oz mugu's like you and me (LOL) can transfer $1250.00 via Western Union.

There were rumours of his death going round the internet but sadley this is not the case.

I may sound harsh but we know of at least 2 people that have killed themselves after these scams!!!

Ask yourself this question....

What would you do/think if a song came out that told you that ripping of the unemployment benefit was cool?

I know we all feel as though our voice are'nt heard but this is different.
Would you be happy with a number 1 hit record that was called "I go ROB your grandmother"?

Our MP's would do something but hey... 419 is just a game

One thing i should add is maybe a reason for this scam to continue is that (and i know u wont like this)... We invaded nigeria (or that is its name now), we then inslaved their people and tought them how to speak pigion english and shipped them to the americas!

Did we create the monster because if this had happened to us I would be the 1st guy to make a house out of the white guy.

Not that i think this is a good reason to rip of our family members but i am trying to figure out why they do this.

PS the only arrest by the nigerian police seam to be political!

That said, I didn't invade anybody. So I don't know why they think scamming me would help their historical counterparts.

I never said you invaded and did not think questions would go down this avenue BUT we must agree...

In my own family those that survived became shepherds to the sheep who replaced whole communities.
Mind you a few resisted.

"I Go Chop Your Dolla" was used in the movie "The Master," which starred Nkem Owoh. It was used satirically. In the end, the movie portrays 419 as a crime that doesn't pay.

Im not sure you understand my hatered for 419ers
I am only trying to fugure out why they do this.
I am defo not racist as i think some 419s come from all 6 continents (lol)

I looked into a puppy sale scam and got my 1st responce but fluft it up...
ie when hotmail ask me to add details, i added to their 1st name "Scam" last name "Baiter"
Opps... so when i replied to the email it said "Scam Baiter" . Since then i have had no response. I hope my puppy is OK

I am as green as i am cabbage looking

they have not replied with details on how to tranfer the money for my new puppy

That's an odd comment for a forum. If you don't want a response, best not post. Wink

I suggest you do a bit of reading. The slavery as excuse for crime angle has been discussed quite a bit. It's no justification whatsoever for committing crimes. Poverty may drive some people to criminal activity but there are plenty of poor starving people NOT scamming and plenty of scammers driving fancy vehicles. If they can afford internet they can afford food.

Re-read my post. I agree that poverty can turn people to criminal activities. (but plenty of starving poor people DON'T turn to crime) The scammers aren't starving. Want to see pictures of them with their Mercedes, BMW's, etc? I repeat: If they can afford internet time, they can afford food.

Edit to add: and I'll point you to Nurse Nasty's question: What does that have to do with us?

We bait scammers, most of whom, would gladly steal money from people who ARE starving.
