I participated in this on Sunday, what an awesome day! Shame that the company I work for weren’t interested in helping out.

taken by one of the bike group members. This is 25 mins worth of ride condensed into 10. I push in around 7:29 lol. I’m riding behind this guy most of the way and my OH is pillion on the bike in front (most of the time). The guy in the yellow lid with Scooby back pack, is my instructor. He got a lot of cheers along with way, so next year we’re not allowing that lol we’re gonna get bigger cheers!

OH had a winning raffle ticket, so he gave it to me, I now have £50 worth of gear to choose!

Only downside to my day, although I was laughing, was dumping my bike in slo-mo and snapping my break lever 5 mins from my house! yes 5 mins......thankfully the brandnew indicators, carefully fixed by biker friend earlier that day! were not damaged!

Awesome Msy! It really makes me want to ride but the bike is mothballed until March. What's your ride? Make a lot for the charity?

Badger - I don't remember any donation tins around, but if each biker paid say £10 for a toy, that's £2-3k worth of toys given to needy children this Christmas.

Everything, and I mean everything was donated! Raffle prizes (tickets were free!), tea/coffee/biscuits! Didn't feel right but as you guys just said, that's the spirit and great job!

Anywho, on topic, I usually (I should do it more "usually") volunteer for the Salvation Army Red Sheild Appeal and visit houses near my area. I find it quite fun and rewarding. I think maybe because I like hassling people a little more than I should...
