But the lad is using free live.com and Yahoo email addresses. Lad is piggybacking off what appears to be a genuine charity website. Otherwise it's a fairly common fake job/payment representative scam. Baiters who like to collect fake cheques might like to take this one on

I'm waiting to hear back from this lad. I thanked him for the job offer but my character is a very old retired lady. I was however really interested in the good work that the heart foundation is doing and offered a large donation to be done by bank transfer as this is the only way to get a tax write-off for a charitable donation.
