I have been asked to find out about this job position
http://www.saet.co.za/jobdetails.aspx?pn=1381
Has anyone come acroos any emails or other references to it? Or maybe any thoughts at all?
There are 2 people about to meet what we think are scammers. |

I'm leaning towards fraud as the site http://www.perfectmotion.tk/ uses a frame to load content from http://perfectmotion.50webs.org
Code: |
<html>
<head>
<title>perfectmotion.tk</title>
<meta name="description" content="perfectmotion.tk">
<meta name="keywords" content="perfect,rights,motion">
</head>
<frameset rows="*" framespacing="0" border="0" frameborder="NO">
<frame src="http://perfectmotion.50webs.org" name="dot_tk_frame_content" scrolling="auto" noresize>
</frameset>
<noframes>

Google searches for contact phone number/email addresses return nothing other than links to the advertisement. Would expect to see more than that for a reputable company even if it hasn't been around for long.
No search results for [email protected]
RE: +44 703 590 5206 UK redirect number.
From numberingplans.com:
Quote: |
Number billable as personal number
Country or destination United Kingdom
City or exchange location
Original network provider* Open Telecom International Ltd.
*) Number portability has not been taken into account |
Refer to Joe Wein's site:
http://www.joewein.de/sw/419-phone-uk.htm
Quote: |
Scam phone numbers in the United Kingdom (+44):
Most "419" scams using +44 70xx numbers involve emails that are sent from Nigeria and other West African countries, not from the UK! If you see a +44 70xx number in a 419 scam email it usually means you're dealing with criminals based in Nigeria.
UK phone numbers starting with '70' are "Personal numbering" in the "Find me anywhere" range. Charges for calls to these numbers are not distance-dependent. They can cost as much as UKL 0.50 (USD 0.90) per minute to call and can forward the call to virtually any phone number in the world. Forwarding numbers can be set up for free and completely anonymously via websites such as uknumbers.com.
In most cases when you call one of these numbers the phone that starts ringing will actually be a mobile phone somewhere in Nigeria, as the UK number has been programmed to auto-forward calls to another number. These +44 70xx numbers are used as a redirector service to obscure the fact that the person taking the call is not actually based in Europe. The UK number is used to lend credibility to the scam. Unfortunately the authorities in the UK do not seem to be taking action to shut down such phone numbers. |
Language is fairly typical lad in the advert and only scant information is presented in the "about us" page (http://perfectmotion.50webs.org/works.html)
I'll willing to bait more information from them if you need it. |

I haven't seen anything about it, but I'm sure you agree that it's a scam. UK redirect telephone number, yahoo email address, and a terrible free webpage!
I figure the World Cup scams will be very prevalent for a while.
Do you need someone to bait them? |

I agree with Jane and Seven. Scammers. Nobody pays $5,000 a month for a translating job, and only working 2-3 hours a day? Ridiculous! Too good to be true. |

Yes, maybe bait them.
It is a scam and LE are trying to gather more information. They were wondering if any information on the site, like telephone and email address, have been used in other scams.
Also useful would be if we have seen similar scams and have any info related to them. |
