I was browsing the archived scam baits, just thought you guys might like to know that the character calling himself Peter Jones was heavily involved in identity theft, I used to work for Orange, and I heard that particular voice, multiple times a day, and i'd bloody know it as well as i know my own mothers, setting up mobile phone accounts under multiple names, address etc, all who seemed to have moved to different addresses only a month previously, obviously to sidestep the credit checks on new addresses as there would be a good hit on the previous address. The fraud department were all over most of them but the guy must have been pulling hundreds of brand new phones in a week. Never was figured out how he was getting them though, Turned out he was paying multiple people in the shipping department of the delivery company they used to unofficially redirect the parcels to several PO boxes. Long story short the bloke apparently got collared, and from what i heard from one of the fraud bods, the bloke got prosecuted and jailed not so long ago. Just thought you'd like to know.

Hi and welcome to Eater.
It's good to hear of a scammer being jailed of course, but I'd be surprised if this one was the same "Peter Jones" mentioned in a scambait here. Not impossible but unlikely.
