Probably another dumb question from a rookie scambaiter, but how can you find the scammers IP address? I am using GMail if that matters. Thanks!

You read the email header, pick out the last IP address, copy it, find a reverse DNS lookup website and that will tell you it's a satellite somewhere in Israel. if you're lucky. Most times you are simply left clueless as to where your laddo might be ... especially if they've spoofed information to hide their whereabouts.

At best you know he's lying ... and you don't need an IP address to tell you that Smile
