Dear Auntie 419 Eater,

First of all let me introduce myself, my name is Pantohorse.

Back in October I hit the big 40, and then a week ago I discovered the existence of Scam Baiting. Obviously I am going through my mid life crisis and rages, all part of the territory so to speak.

My question to you, Auntie 419 Eater is this :-

Is it ethically right for me to take all my pain, suffering and rage out on harmless scammers, the same harmless scammers who rob, extort, beat and murder?

I mean, after all these guys have a job to do and I don't wish to make fun of those poor pathetic tossers when they are yet so poor? I mean, I feel like a hormonilly challenged 50 year old woman going through the menopause and I don't want to hurt anyone by having you guys laughing wildly at them as i waste their time...

...Or is it going to be a good thing for me?

As for the hormonal thing, I prefer to think of it as lad harmonal tactics. Reading around is a good thing and I am sure you will do well. Look at how well you have baited us here... Wink

The gold member is not a scam, though we say we were scammed just because we are just cantenkerous that way.

Dear Pantohorse

I enjoyed reading your letter, it seems to me you got what it takes to become a succesfull baiter. I hit the big 40 recently too and all i can say is that thanks to my baiting i don't suffer from the symptoms of mid-life crisis. I don't have the urge to buy me a sports car and start chasing young woman. (apart from the woman on eater) Instead my baiting is improving, getting more evil, more daring, and more juvenile.
Yes, reading a lot on eater is a good thing but getting started is even better! Just grab yourself a lad from the surplus forum or start feeding some guestbooks and away you go. The best way of learning how to bait is by doing it. It doesn't matter if your lad drops you after a while, you'll learn from it. And there's allways a load of new lads just waiting in line to be baited by just you. Just yesterday i saw a lad holding a sign which said "Pantohorse, please bait me!" That's how eager the lads are lately to be baited.
And remember, life begins with 40!

I read that whole thing that Shiver wrote out about why we do this and it makes me want to do it even more, the fun and laughter is a well deserved by-product of screwing over scummers (nope, that's not a typo).
