Hello, long time absentee, and lurker/spectator of this site. It is great to be back, and I would also like to thank the admin ( bow_down

) of this site for helping me remember what my username was.

So reading through the baits, I just wondered: Do any of the baiters here like to incorporate elements from either their favorite movie or book into their baits? (I am sure this is a 'no duh' ) question, but just wondering.

On that note, does anyone remember the 1984 movie 'Johnny Dangerously' (Michael Keaton, Joe Piscapo, etc)? The reason I ask is because I think it would be hilarious if:

A: There is a mass insult bait, using quotes from the character "Roman Moroni' example:

Lad sends or replies with an insult

baiter responds: "Why you miserable cork-soaker! "

Lad replies: 'insult'

baiter responds again: "This is fargin war! "

...and so on...

B. "Correcting" the lad's insults hoping he will become the next 'Moroni'. Razz

Seems like you've done your fair share of slacking over the years you've been here. Wink

It's not a problem to incorporate anything that will give you a kick, as long as you don't go overboard.

Haven't saw the movie, so can't comment further.

Heh, thanks Craig. Well I haven't been totally 'slacking', since I still am busy with my studies (sigh).

Anyways, since you HAVEN'T seen the movie, then I really do recommend seeing it. It is a classic! Smile

I recall someone a while back who tried to incorporate the plot of "Lost" into his baits. I think at least one lad twigged, as "Lost" is apparently very popular all over the world. (Why, I can't figure out, but there's no accounting for taste. Wink

)

That being said, if you want to give it a try, the worst that can happen is that the lad twigs and drops you. Smile

I can search for an 'insult mass bait thread' to try my luck out. As for any other baiting, as I said before I don't have much time, what between my studies, home and spending time with the wifey.

Welcome back,
Incorporating movies and song lyrics is fun. I did a bait once where my only replies to the lad were Elvis songs. The bait went on for quite some time and to top it off it was real quick to respond as finding Elvis lyrics on the net is a snap.

BTW: Johnny Dangerously was a hysterical movie. I loved it.

Doc Williams has put Star Wars in some of his baits and it makes me laugh.
I think you could use anything as long as it seems real to the lad.
Some members have been cats and horses to their lads. Laughing
