My lad has gotten the form, with the missing numbers. He thanked me for the money, and seems really sorry about me having to pay twice lol. (cos im a dumb blonde) He now wants to explain how I can get half of it back, and how Im gonna get the numbers right. So, how do I explain the missing numbers?? and seriously, i thought he would be really upset about this. lol. help please:)

I would just say that I had no idea how that happened and blame the clerk who did the transaction and now would be a good time for "your son" to fall out of a tree because boys will be boys and that would take a trip to the hospital and you are so worried and if he questios you more about the money then say don't you care about me and my feelings and "my son" etc etc to stall and by more time this is why I use everything I can think of to stall sending the western onion, my dog etc hope this helps.

I was gonna save the "my kids been in an accident" for later, but yes im blaming the clerk. talking to him right now. hes being ever so helpful, telling me how i can get this right lol.

Your son being in an accident is a really good stalling device, because you will have to be at the hospital, or taking him for therapy, or picking up medications - you get the idea. And everytime you get a spare minute to get to MG, it's closed, or there's too long a line and you have to get home to your boy, or some such thing. Constant delays, and yet you are really TRYING to get some money to this guy. Wink

Really, he should see that a bank-to-bank transfer is really the best way to go. You can do that on your lunch hour, or even online.

Then, when you have his bank details, you forward them to our mysterious colleague Alan, wait a week or so, and then tell the lad the bank is telling you there's something wrong with the account he gave you. (There should be something wrong by then - it should be closed.) Ask him for another one, rinse, and repeat.

I will probably need a little more help with how to do the bank-to-bank transfer thing, if it gets to that. Yes I have just agreed with him to go back to the incompetent people at the post office on monday, to get the transfer right.
I told him my late husband used to take care of all the paperwork, so no wonder silly me gets it wrong again and again and again.... lol

I want to post the chatlogs, but not sure if I should post from the beginning, or from when he starts asking me for help??

Ok I think Ill just post the whole thing from the start, so you can get the whole picture.

Right. so my friend met this guy on a jewish datesite. as shes jewish. Im not, but after she told me how strange he was, and that what he said didnt add up, we decided for me to join the site too, and start chatting with him. To see if he gave me the same story.

Just one thing - if you're going to use John Thomas again, don't give the lad a lot of information he can turn around and use on a real victim.
