The closest I've gotten is one guy (name withheld) who threatened to become my "own personal badger".

Wow you are quite arrogant! Obviously I am new to this forum. I read if not ALL the stickies almost ALL the stickies. It was not disguised in any way when I found it in the creators thread. I thought all of the forum areas needed a login to be accessed. I suggest you recommend this point be adressed to the mods so it can be put in a place where noobs with good intentions will find it. Maybe you should try insulting them too, for not haveing it posted in an appropriate place! It's A'holes like you that chase noobs from forums like this! Almost makes me want to become your own personal badger! Have a wonderfull day! |
But, beyond that, I'm afraid I have no real experiences that I'm aware of. Badgers are incredibly rare. Some don't even believe they exist. |

What about when scammers have stumbled across eater, and then are
subsequently identified?
I'm sure that would create some interesting baiting, and I know its happened
in the past, but I have never gotten the full story from anybody.
So I guess I'm expanding my question to lads that have found eater. |

Interestingly enough, the lads that do find Eater hardly become any less baitable. As long as you wave a thick enough wad of cash in their face, they'll bite no matter what they may know. |

<<<<Badger in all the RIGHT ways. I tear lads up...grrr.
I have seen some lads attempt to participate in our lively discussions only to be quickly removed by our just and powerful Mods. The ol' hue and cry ususlly goes out pretty fast if there is any hint of deception or lad like activity in our midst. I remember we had one posing a LEO, that got shut down quickly as I recall. |

We have had lots of fun in the past where lads found eater. See the title under my username??? I pretended to fall in love with one a while back - - and I "took up" for him here on the forums. LOL we had a blast with him.
As for badgers - - they belong in the category with "Big foot" and the "Loch Ness Monster" |

I dispute that! As a proud, honest Scotsman, Nessie is alive and swimming. I seen her with my own eyes, when I was on holiday in Fort Augustus. |

I don't think that they are as rare as that.
There are badgers, occasionally, but they are really just a sub-genus of troll which, unfortunately, there are plenty of.
I wouldn't worry about running into a badger in a bait, though. More than likely you won't. |

However, I found this yesterday. Gentleman is posting his B8ings on his blog, and he makes this statement about an Ethical Dilemma.
I'm not saying this person is a badger, but it is mentioned.

It's a bit odd to say that baiters harvest emails from guest books.
Baiters go to the places where scammers harvest addresses.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 'mugu keep off' mark is not done by baiters, but by scammers to warn off other scammers, not by baiters.
And what is the ethical dilemma there? Whether or not badgering (badging?) is bad karma? (I've come to believe it would be.) |

He may have his terms confused

I dunno what he's speaking of, unless he's wondering who deserves baiting, the lad or the baiter. |

If badgers are as scarce as you say, what is digging up my dad's lawn and shrubs? Actually, I've got a photo of a badger and not blurred or shaky like the loch Ness monster ones...
Which reminds me: several years ago, while watching TV about 1:30 am I heard two guys in our back garden. I heard animal noises and someone say "got it". I dashed upstairs and readied my camera and took six photos out the window. The intruders realised what was happening and ducked behind the greenhouse which caused them to trip over some bricks and let the badger go. Although I was not successful with the photographs at least I saved the badger from being baited. |
