I just googled one of my baiter email addresses to see what comes up. Here's what I got:

It's a list of hundreds of emails under a loan scam. Is this maybe where scammers put their "biters'" email so that other scammers can use them too?

I don't know for sure. That site is supposed to be some sort of way to easily paste and share things (for example when your on the phone). I don't think that lads share their victim's addresses.
The only reason for a lad posting there might be so the guy spamming for him can easily copy and paste it. That's the only reason I can think of why it would be there...

They do buy lists, both of adresses as yet unscammed, and 'sucker' lists of maga who have already been scammed, so they can try recovery scams on them to 'get their money back'. IIRC, the Shuttle pretended to be one of these, and was distributed to lads.

Maybe this is one lad transfering his list and format to an underling, so he can do all the work - they can be very lazy sometimes.

Sometimes I reply to an email and never hear back from them. Now I"ll be wondering if by replying and not getting a response, that it is just putting my name on a list somewhere for other scammers to use. But it's fine with me.... Smile

As somebody mentioned above it is a tool used by scammers where one scammer passes his magas and format to other lads in his network.

That's exactly what I thought when I went back to look at the addresses again. Even some of the 'normal looking' addresses were found in guest books (especially 419baiter guest book) with the usual "great site" comment.

Could it maybe be a site to let scammers know who they should NOT bother with because we're known baiters?

^^ I dont think so, I think it is a means of a group of scammers to send their formats and bombing lists easily.

Some of those email addresses are almost certainly other scammers and with that many email address I would think some were real people.

Take another look around the site and try pressing some buttons, with any kind of luck you will break something Wink

One way to tell is to save one of your own baiting addies in the list, I think you can do that, you may even be able to send yourself a mail or 500 using it
