I had a lad wanting to lend me money at 2% interest. I put on my Canadian lady cloak and said I was about to buy a new car. Things proceeded, as they do, and then suddenly his email address began bouncing. After trying for a week or so I decided he had been sprung and closed down.
Today, a couple of weeks later, he has reappeared morphed into a gmail address and with the same first name but a different surname. His pitch is almost identical. Interestingly, in the same mail I got a webmail warning and a request to send my email details, (password etc). This came from guess who? Same lad, same IP as previously, same Known Scammer number.
So I have maintained my Canadian lady buying a car alias and said how pleased I am to get his mail as I thought I had a loan arranged but it seems to have fallen through as the lender's address is bouncing.
Here we go again... |

At least your lad keeps his target name list somewhere outside of his email box, so he hasn't lost you. And you have a bit of a head start on what he is going to say to you again. You can try to head him down a slightly different path this time. |

Actually it came to my normal home address, which is where the first one came. In both cases I transferred them to my Canadian Lady's Gmail account. I think he still has the scammers list he originally probably purchased, and has just started over with that. My reply this time though should make him realise he is dealing with one of his original 'clients'. |

All my lads originate from an email address I have, (not a gmail one) that seems to be on a list the lads have. I always transfer the content to one of my gmail addresses and set it up to look like it came there and I am replying. In the case above I want him to realise it is one of his targets from the account that got shut down. My story is that I am glad to receive his call as I am buying a car and a previous lender cannot now be contacted as his email address is bouncing. |
