I really screwed up this time

I made such a big mistake and am trying to figure out how to solve it.

I am currently corresponding with this nice young ladette/lad who has lost her father. She is sleeping in a church, has a chest full of valuables that only I can claim for her, and desperately needs my help.

What is intesting is I do not get a request for any cash for a bit, instead I keep getting asked for a photo of myself.

I tell her that I am an old man and very lonely and horny and am wondering what might happen when she comes to live with me. I tell her I barely know how computers work and still she wants this photo of me.

I tell her that I only have old style photos and do not know how to get them onto my computer to send to her. I ask for help in a few emails and even explain how I have tried to hold it up to my monitor and press buttons, try to find a way to put it in my computer and nothing is working.

I plead for her to help me so I can send this photo she wants so that she might see me and love me.

Finally I get some help on the same day I get an email from the security company. She tells me that I need to find a cyber cafe and ask for help with my photo so she can finally see me.

I email the security company and tell them I am off to find a way to scan my photo and will do my drivers license at the same time. (security company wants no money yet - just my info)

This is where it all went south - and I made some big mistakes - seems a photo really wasn't all that necessary.

See my mistake? I thought the photo was the most important thing I could do because that is all she ever talked about.

She loves me without even having to see my picture, but now I am screwed because I ordered the scanner.

I have now received information regarding the cost of changing documents at the security company. I sure hope I can get my money back from the computer store so I can be rich and hold Keren in my arms.

OH MY - I forgot she was homeless and sleeping in a church - I am glad she reminded me of her plight. I must get that money back so I can help her.

I hope that I can fix my terrible mistake, but I have a premonition that when I go to the computer store today I will be told that the person I bought the scanner from is not working again until Sunday and he is the only one I can talk to about a refund.

Sunday I am going to church and not to the computer store so I will be able to talk to him on Monday.

I sure hope they don't have an all sales are final policy - I can always tell them I will install it myself - I may have to after the shipping comes up to the extra $1000 I spent for the install.

I bet I can scan some really cool pictures and things for my love after I try to install it too. I may have to sell a stock for the money that is needed, I hope my stock broker is around at that time.

I have not posted much for quite some time, but with the baits I have going on right now this one has been a bit of fun once the scanner modality came to me.

In the shower today I realized that my company is in the middle of a Business Audit of Internal Telephone Usage and he can not use my work phone or I may get fired.

Somehow I think that getting your money back will be a very difficult and time-consuming process which will send you to the lad for advice at every step along the way.

I'm guessing you threw away the receipt, right? So the only way they'll give you your money back is with a filled out character reference form (a very common business practice in your area). You are so old that you have no friends left, except the lad. Will she please fill out the character reference forms so that you can get your money back?

I hope a bunch of stuff doesn't keep coming up to keep you from the computer store until after their 14 day return policy. Then you'd have to go the incredibly time consuming process of trying to sell the scanner on craig's list. I also hope that when you finally find a buyer for your scanner, it's not a check scammer.
That would be awful.

You've shown the scammer just how much money you're willing to throw on this - the lad now thinks "phew, he's got the money back, now I just have to work him hard to get him to send it to me instead"

Yeah ,It would be awful that you lost the receipt.
Then when you had a screaming fit at the computer store because they wouldn't give the money back without the receipt, you got thrown out and arrested .
Now you can never go back. Sad

Then putting it up for sale on the Internet and getting taken by another scammer.
Trying to call from work gets you fired and you might think of suicide.
Your life got so screwed up over that picture, It sure is a good thing she loves you and will stand by her man. Cool

Seems the person I bought the scanner from is not authorized to do a refund I have to talk to the manager. He was not in, but may be in Monday.

Something tells me this is not going to be easy. Hopefully Keren will be patient.
