It appears blank until you move the mouse over the body of the page.

Why so? I can't find any information about it. When I click a link to find out, I get an error.

Yet no error for any other searches.

I think that's a feature of Google Chrome. In Firefox it looks normal.

I don't like Chrome much myself...

Google is appearing fine to me. It has some Halloween candy that changes a few times before going to a default search. Is that what you are talking about?

And Craig mine is working fine. The same advertisements that have always been there are still there. Maybe it's that way because you still have "airplane Mode" selected on your mobile internet. Don't forget to turn that off after you land. You are lucky because when I have air plane mode on I cannot access the internet.

This is appearing on my home PC. Ah well.

I am with Hutchison 3G, which is why my IP will change from time to time. But I don't ever go on the internet in the plane.

It's behaving normally for me.

'This space left intentionally blank' is a common phrase to see on page 2 of any serious business report - basically people panic if they see a *totally* blank page, in case they've lost something thanks to a printer error, so this phrase is commonly used in its place.

Except - we used to have a technical author at one company I worked at... he posited that (Scottish accent here) "Well it's not exactly true, is it? I mean, it's not blank because it's got these words on it. Instead I shall use 'This is the only information on this page', which is accurate". He had a good point.
