Lads getting selfish???

Has anyone else noticed that the lads are offering less of a share in the loot lately? I guess it's yet another sign of our present economy!!!
These are from just this morning...
It is my intention to compensate you with 20% of the total money for your services.
I am willing to offer you 15% of the total fund if only you can help me out of my present predicame.
I will give you 10% of the total money as compensation for your assistance.
Then there's with whom I've been negotiating ...
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT PERCENTAGE OF THE TOTAL MONEY YOU WILL TAKE FOR HELPING ME TO COLLECT IT FROM DUBAI.
Me - I would expect to have a 50/50 split of the proceeds.
J.T. - pls you have to help, taking 50percent is on the high side ,bk am not in this all alone kindly understand my plight.
About 15 mins. later...
J.T. - pls let me give you 20percent i think its ok pls kindly understand.
I don't get why these thieves would be concerned about what percentage of non-existent money they aren't going to share regardless but I'm glad that they're too dull to figure out that they need to "offer the moon" to hook victims.

Yes, I've been getting offers of 15% lately. What positively amazes me is that they haggle and argue over imaginary money! Maybe they're starting to think it's real.

I wonder if they think the haggling will make them seem more authentic to a potential victim? And that should work both ways. The more we haggle back, the more real we look too. I'll bet they've caught on that offerings sixty gazillion u.s. dollars is a sure tip-off that the offer's a scam.

I'm really bummed...
I just got this, the lowest offer yet:
It is my intention to compensate you with 5% of the total money for your services and the balance shall be my investment capital.
What's next? Are they going to charge me money to help them?
My reply:
Dear Miss John,
I just received your message and I must say that I'm disappointed in your offer of 5% of the loot. My time and efforts are worth considerly more than this measly amount offered. I would expect no less than 50%. Please reconsider and get back to me.

Yeah, that's BS. None of my characters will accept any less than 50%.

And let's not get started with Kyriak0s Nikol0poulos, the stubborn Greek restaurant owner. He asks for at least 70% right off the bat!

I recall a scammer who told Captain Mal that he was the beneficiary of an eccentric millionaire's will, and then said:

This is one of the little intricacies that makes lads so fun to play with. When I had more time, I used to haggle baits to death just to see what sort of wackiness I could achieve. I had one lad begin with 70% for him, 15% for me, and 15% for general expenses. At about the midway point of negotiations, we had decided on 60% for me, 30% for him, 5% for general expenses and 5% to a charity we would agree upon in the future. He ended up accusing me of the heinous sin of "not being serious" after I talked him down to 20% for me 20% for him, 10% for general expenses and 50% for my favorite charity (TW@Ts 4 Food). Overall, the negotiations lasted about a month, but it's the type of thing only a straight baiter at heart would call a success. I burned through a lot of lads this way, as patience seems to be the sort of thing lads and I find ourselves lacking.

The more ways you can think of to split up the money (9.3% to charity, 47.8% to me, 11.9% fees, etc etc) the more fun you can have making your lad do simple stupid maths for you - what if you took 28.3% of my share after taxes, charity payments, fees, my brother's consultancy fees, etc, etc, how much would I have to write you a cheque for? It can provide a distraction from the main event - just be sure not to get accused of not being serious Wink
