I am curious about this as well. 404 is a running joke because... ???

EDIT - I must be a little dim or something. So 419 Admins are getting heat from some outside organization for use of copyright material?

Lots of insulting remarks, and copyrighted material used. After so many years, Eater had enough and decided to take legal action.

404 refers to the fact the site the copyrighted material was found on presents a 404 error when accesssed.
