Now since we stuffed up one of the pages (the bottom of page 5 btw), he had to redo that page and get a photo of himself holding up page seven, which I sent later. Let's see if he complies

And he COMPLIES! The Rumemeister ALSO writes back several times. And in the third email the forms are attached, including TWO copies of the "Security photo".

To be honest with you its breaks my heart more than you can imagine to see Kathrin lying helplessly in that machine. i feel so sad because there's nothing i can do to change that. Thank you Sabrina for being there for her. may God bless you. my regards to kathrin, tell her i wish her a quick a stable recovery. (It seems he BOUGHT the MRI Scanner pic I sent awhile back. OK Sabrina,the name on the microphone is RoHS Compliant. (Which tells me NOTHING BY THE WAY. In a previous email, I asked WHAT type of microphones he was buying. Even the cheap Tandy/radio shack PZM microphones are RoHS Compliant. It's a standard, NOT a brand name. I won't correct him, but it's further evidence he's talking out of his ass)

As far as I can tell this should be fine, but then I'm hardly an expert I never use western Union myself. I'll head off now to the city (I'm in University right now). I hardly need the job, but I just can't shake my interest in my studies, so I've resumed them on a part time basis.

Once the forms are okay by western union, I'll send you a scan of the receipt. Hopefully by the the end of tomorrow. I'll look to see if your address details are still here in this account. Since it's Kathrin's I don't delete ANYTHING, but she hasn't looked at this in ages so you're safe, she won't find out..

And surprise, surprise, the receipt didn't work... But NOT quite the way I thought. It seems there are TOO MANY numbers on the MTCN! Shocked

i just want to inform you that i was at the bank today to have the money that you sent to me withdrawn, but on getting there, i was told that the MTCN (money transfer control number) Has exceeded 10 digits. on the receipt that you sent to me there are 11 numbers on it. please i will like you to check again and send me the correct one. Thank you for your reply,why like i said on the email, the number i copied was wrong (. infact it is not an MTCN number. What you should do is to copy the MTCN number and send it to me because i checked the top righ like you said and it wasnt there probably the western union invoice is covering it. the only number i could see which is at the bottom is (32003975314). kindly check and copy out the right MTCN, because i couldnt find it. i await to read from you soon. thanks.

Worse still, it's time to bring Kathrin back into the picture. And it seems her Cancer's playing up. Not planning to kill her off, just to make him sweat awhile:

But the form's gonna have to wait awhile. Kathrin's taken a turn for the worse and has been admitted for surgery. All I know is that they've called EVERY specialist I hired, at 4am local time. Will keep you posted on her progress and the form

And so, after a quick google on surgery, I send this back:

To give you an update, I'm still at the hospital and have been since I last wrote to you. I'm having a quick coffee and cigarette (and I'd given up, so you know how stressed out I must be), and saw your note while having a quick flick through the mail on this iPhone.

Kathrin remains in Intensive care after a 26 hour battle to remove a tumour from her brain. While having the procedure it was discovered that the cancer had also spread to her lungs. Fortunately I'd had the foresight to have the best standing by and it's paid off.

She is recovering well, better than expected in fact. If she progresses as well as she is they plan to advance her chemotherapy in the hopes of getting to the stage of remission, but they're now saying that will be more likely months or years rather than weeks as was previously thought.

It looks like Kathrin and I will be in Melbourne a LOT longer than we planned. I've already had Kathrin's stuff put into storage and cancelled the lease on her flat in Goulburn when she was first admitted. But we were hoping that since her cancer was caught so early, that the procedure to remove the cancer would be fairly simple, especially with such a team of dedicated experts such as the team I've put together. Anyhoo, the ciggies run out, I'm off back to Kathrin

I make it short and to the point:

Rume,

I don't think I made myself perfectly clear. Why Kathrin's improving, she is STILL unconscious AND still in intensive care. She has a LONG way to go before she is fully recovered enough to begin chemotherapy again. And if you think I'll be leaving this place before Kathrin regains consciousness you've got another think coming!

That form is still at my apartment and I'll grab it when Kathrin's better and NOT before! And if you don't like that, then go find some cash elsewhere. My priority's with my Aunt (and since my mum's death my ONLY priority) and don't you forget it! If I have to choose between my Aunt and you, you'll always come a paltry 200th!!!

I'll let you know when she's regained consciousness.

i quickly took this time to go to an internet cafe, because i thought that i would recieve an update from you concerning Kathrin's health.

What is the situation? i have been so worried and distured, cos i felt pity for you. that you aboandoned all to take care of your aunty. you are such an Angel, (It's pretty easy when you're fictional) because i know not many people can do that. You really deserve the st of everything in life. and it shall be so by the grace of almighty God. i will wait to read from you soon.

Wow, what a great read so far! … I'm on the edge of my seat anticipating the next move.

How's this for a possible plot twist:

Kathrin (through divine intervention) is miraculously healed. Sabrina finds religion and decides to donate the bulk of her inheritance to various charities. When Rumi realizes the well is about to go dry, he'll most likely make a more passionate plea for his share.

Yeah sorry I haven't written it's been kinda crazy here. It's like a hitman's been chasin' me or sumfink. Anyhoo to give the word Kathrin has regained consciousness and is resting comfortably. If she doesn't fall back into unconsciousness, then chemotherapy will resume at the end of the week. Hell I might even go home and sleep in my own bed as opposed to a chair by Kathrin's bed.
