Anyone been approached by a handsome half Spanish / half Irish widower with a 6 year old son? I fell for this hook line and sinker for first couple of weeks. We both on fee paying webste. He never asked me to move to messenger (I did that after a week cos of all the creeps trying to talk when I was logged in! - DUH!) I consider myself very switched on but we had such intelligent telephone conversations I couldn't spot anything. He never tripped up on anything and I do "test". Only thing was him being so lovey dovey but I put that down to his foreign background - it wasn't lovey dovey stuff like the usual scammers do though. Not sickly.
First warning I had was when he flew to Malaysia on business and had to take his son. Son falls and in hospital with blood clot on brain 2 days before they come home. I'm a nurse and the story panned out just as I would have expected it to......felt guilty for doubting him but just did.
He's known from the start that I am in middle of divorce and have absolutely no money.....I instigated that chat too. He says doesn't want my money. Is his problem. Even got me to phone a friend for him! LOL. He now in South Africa selling his house to get son home.
Hey, he's an IT contractor......they pay well cos that's what my estranged hubby does! He was taking me to Paris (yeah right) but hey, if he no money how could he do that? I asked him a few questions other night and he disappeared from chat..........think too much heat. Am still acting all concerned. Waiting for him to get in touch again. He still on dating site too.
Anyways, anyone recognise this???
At least has got me into baiting. Have been swatting on this site. Got my email, redirected phone no etc all set up and having a ball with one guy in paticular at moment. Metrodate full of scammers.......frightening just how many when you know what to spot.
Would appreciate your thoughts on my "man" guys.

You have found baiting - kiss all your free time good-bye and enjoy!!!

Oh for someone to recognize him it would be good to put his IP addy and the details, letters you have from him on scamwarners.com or another romance scam site (not sure of the name right now)... that way if anyone else gets suspicious they can do a search on him and find him with the scammers.

I notice you have also joined Scamwarners, if you would like to post some details of your scammer it would be a huge help in making it more difficult for your new pet to scam somebody else.

In order for us to see if we have played with your pet before, emails and details from him would help.

Perhaps you would like to post his first e-mail and the headers , on here. Then others can also take up the challenge of entertaining your new friend.

I know DW is just dying to have a slice of the action,, She's into over sexed men, who think there Gods gift, to the female population. Wink
