A few months ago I was stringing a lad along to collect on an unpaid
contract. It went along for a few weeks and was going nowhere, so I
had my attorney Michael Knight contact them saying I had died and
any monies due or payable should be refered to him as the executor
of my estate. I heard nothing back for several days, then suddenly
my inbox is over flowing with demands for payment from the dear
departed.
Mr Knight has instructed them that they must appear in court in person
to recieve payment, as we speak 3 of the lads from Lagos are boarding
a flight from Lagos to Dallas, with the instructions to just walk into
Probate court #1 in Tarrant county, and just walk up to the judge with the
release phrase for the funds, "It's my money and I need it now" This
could be interesting.

I expect you know, but that's highly unlikely. I expect they'll tell you they are stranded somewhere on route, and need financial assistance.

An update: Michael Knight, executor for the now deceased karen recieved a phone call at 4am cdt from a pay phone in atlanta from a lad saying they
did not realize there would be a 15 hour layover in atlanta before they get
to Dallas, the poor lads are stranded with little cash and wanted Mr. Knight
to pay for a hotel room at the Holiday inn.
Mr knight gave them the address and number of the sleepee time motel,
a closed down motel a friend of mine reccomended. told them to save reciepts, as the court would reimburse them
Don't know if it's who i baited or some one here in the us working with them but the phone they called from traced back to a pay phone at the atlanta airport.
Oh well if they get to dallas their gonna have to wait until tuesday as the court will not be in session.
by the way the court is aware that they may appear, the court clerk and I went to school together.
We shall see

Latest update: 3 lads have arrived in Dallas and now are presently in a motel 6 in carralton, they have pleaded with Mr knight for an advance on funds as they only have 500 dollars left . Mr Knight has informed them that he , as an officer of the court and executor of the estate, may not advance funds even personally, as that would show undo prejudice towards their
claim to the estate. ( as a side note we are now live in person one on one other than a few phone calls here and there).
Mr Knights partner, Jasmine de' Foliate will be handling the actual probate procedings.

Coming up Monday, the probate court burns down and probate procedings with a real judge and a mock court will happen in a lawyers conference room and be video taped.
And by the way they only bought one way tickets, guess they are planning to fly back first class Twisted Evil

i dont wana doubt the story but i cant imagine an African citizen is allowed to buy 1 way tickets to any western country if he dont have a pemanent visa....<<<i didnt check this but i am almost sure the U.S not let any foreigner who is on a tourist visa in the country if he cant provide a retour ticket.ofcourse we do know lads always speak the truth so how can i doubt them.

Mike Knight is one of my characters, however for these live proceedings he is being played by a friend of mine in Dallas who is a real attorney.

Another update: The lads are broke, Jasmine let them use her cell to call home and is now in route to western union for them to retrieve funds to tide
them over til court. For those who are confused at this point jasmine is Mr Knights partner.
Meanwhile at least 30 calls have come to Mikes office, ah the joys of k-7.
I have even thought about having karen burst into the courtroom at the last minute and proclaim I'm not dead I was being held captive by a group of scammers who wanted my money.
Any thoughts on that will be welcome

If they are there already there you want them to hang around as long as possible. Just as the scammer gets the victim to put in just a little more money, you want to trick the scammer into spending just one more day. In court these are called continuances. It turns out on Monday there's a postponement when the judge issues a subpoena duces tecum to have the accountant bring all of the account balances. It turns out that there's money everywhere. He will try to testify on Wednesday but of course something will come up on Tuesday. Everything should be just fine for Thursday. BTW, the courtroom is always dark on Friday and Monday is used for scheduling other cases.

Edit to add: Mail.com really sucks, but they have @lawyer.com email extensions. One email sent from that box could get the lad to stay a few more days waiting for his money.

Can you give more details about them? White Americans or Black Africans? Appeared to be "Nice guys" or "sinister" etc. I wonder what spooked them? Could it have been something your friend said?
