Months back, I got an interesting letter about signing up to coach a basketball(?) team in Africa. It mentioned a resume.
Certain that this was a scam, I replied, asking what to do.
She took a while to reply, but eventually she told me to forward my resume to her.
When I asked what needed to be in it, she said:

You have to indicate the places and areas you have coached/the position you have acquired.

If this is a scam, what good is a resume to her?

We need more info, like the first email with headers.

Could be a genuine offer (unlikely) or a lad could be tested just how serious you are by demanding a 'history' of your coaching experience.

If it's a scam, it's a bitch test. That is, the lad wants to make sure you're serious.

It's the same as when they send you forms to fill out or ask you for a scan of your ID. They don't really need or use them for anything (other than occasionally recycling them on victims).

I'm afraid I deleted the opening message because she took too long to reply...

If it was a genuine job offer, the employer would want a resume. The lad just wants the scam to look real.
He probably wouldn't even read it.

Can't you just send him your "resume" in the form of a large .dll file that you have renamed "Resume.txt"?
