Anyone just seen his channel 4 show where he correctly guessed all the National Lottery no's before the draw was broadcast live? Wow, wish I could do that. |

My guess is that the draw not as live as they would have you believe - done enough in advance for someone there to whisper the numbers in his earpiece, but too late to buy a ticket - they stop the sales long before the draw.
Interesting he didnt do the show an hour, or a day before, AFIK it started the same time as the lottery draw show.
Some guys were doing the same with bets on the timing of football goals, using technology quicker than the regular Tv feeds. |

I'm going with a spilt screen. If he had shown his prediction before the draw (There was no real reason he couldn't; his lies about Camelot rules seem a bit thin), then I would have to call him the devil. Rather basic camera trickery and showmanship is... well, rather basic.
If he did it another way, then why bother? A spilt screen and a tech with fast hands - or lots of pre-recorded endings - is much easier than any other method I can think of. |

I suspect it may have something to do with the 9 second delay on live TV for editing. They had an idea Brown wasn't going to mouth off, so maybe they did away with 9 secs? |
