Why do you bait?

For example:

A. You are literary minded and love the perfect sentence construction and grammar so typical of scam e-mails Laughing

B. you are still hoping to get your hands on that lottery winning or surprise inheritance, which purely by bad luck you haven't secured so far, since you want to invest it in a good cause or Trust Fund? Laughing

Just curious really...

N) to do good. By wasting a Lads time on me, I have done a small contribution for the fact that thelad could not spend time on a real victim.

O) It's fun, but sometimes costly on keyboards. The occational email/pciture which is so funny that I spray coffee on everything due to a laughing fit while drinking coffee.

I concur with all of the above plus

Q) I am by nature a particularly cruel individual but, over the years, have managed to curb my innate nastiness and now only let rip on those who REALLY deserve it. Scammers are fair game as far as I'm concerned. So I hurt them rather than innocents. Hey, I never claimed to be a nice guy right?

Though maybe baiting can't be really considered a waste of time...

I guess it's just my love of irony and sarcasm, both of which are abundantly present on these forums.

Then you come here and bond by swapping stories about it.

WOW! I hoped for some enlightening and amusing answers and I certainly wasn't disappointed!

I read in baiter university that otterfan loved the creativity side of things so I just wondered what everyone else got from it.
